Forklift Engine Service Filter Set Planning

Forklift Engine Service Filter Set Planning

Build the service order from the exact engine and the truck’s installed filter arrangement. Oil, fuel and air filters belong to different circuits, and the transmission or hydraulic filters may require separate identification.

engine service filter set reference

Oil-filter identity example, not a complete service kit: reference card 1C020-32434 differs from unit label 1C020-3243A; confirm the suffix and engine application.

What an engine service set can include

Perkins documents service kits for standard builds in its 400 and 1100 Series. The described coverage includes oil, fuel and air filters, with pre-fuel and safety-air filters where required; it also includes non-filter service items. This demonstrates why kit contents must be checked against the exact build rather than inferred from a series name.

Engine reference to service-order scope
Engine information available What can be established What remains to confirm
Perkins 400 Series standard build Manufacturer service-kit program includes this series Exact build, current kit number, oil/fuel/air references and contents
Perkins 1100 Series standard build Manufacturer service-kit program includes this series Mechanical/electronic variant, exact build and current kit contents
Other identified forklift engine Engine model and serial provide the starting reference Each oil and fuel filter number; installed air-cleaner assembly and elements
Truck model only Truck identity can start an assisted search Installed engine build, serial changes and non-engine filter circuits
Old filter numbers only Individual references can be submitted together Whether the list covers the required service and whether all filters belong to the same truck

Separate every filter position before calling the set complete

Service-set coverage map — quantities follow the actual machine
Position Information to collect Do not assume
Engine oil Old number, spin-on or element type, housing/interface That a filter with the same outer size has the correct valve or filtration specification
Fuel primary / pre-filter Number, water-separator bowl, drain or sensor arrangement That every engine has a separate primary stage
Fuel secondary / final Exact element/reference and housing That primary and secondary filters can be interchanged
Air main Air-cleaner housing number and main-element reference That the engine name alone fixes an OEM-installed air cleaner
Air safety / inner Housing compatibility and safety-element number if fitted That every housing contains or accepts an inner element
Hydraulic Circuit position and filter head/reference That this is part of an engine-only kit
Transmission Transmission identity and filter reference That an engine service set includes transmission filters

An individual filter reference is not a complete service kit

The reference card reads 1C020-32434, while visible unit labels read 1C020-3243A. Keep both references in the request. Their suffix relationship and exact engine application remain unconfirmed; this photograph does not establish that they are interchangeable.

Reference conflict: card 1C020-32434 / unit label 1C020-3243A. Confirm the complete old-filter number and engine application before ordering. View full photo

Send one list, grouped by machine

For a fleet order, keep each forklift’s model, serial and engine build with its filters. Add the service interval or work scope from your maintenance plan so that the list can be checked for omissions. There is no verified complete forklift engine filter kit or cross-brand kit interchange offered on this page.

  • List the oil, primary fuel, secondary fuel, main air and safety air positions separately; mark absent or unknown positions.
  • Attach old-filter labels and an engine nameplate. Add the housing photo if a number is missing.
  • State the number of machines and the quantity required for each filter. Do not treat quantities printed on source-photo cards as MOQ.
  • Keep hydraulic and transmission items as separately identified lines, even when they are ordered with the engine service parts.

Ask about the part you need

A part number is optional. Start with the information you have.

Technical references

Manufacturer references describe particular products or families. They do not establish Authpart stock or compatibility with your truck.
